Fear of Falling Workshops
Fear of falling is one of the most common barriers to progression in climbing. It can limit movement, reduce enjoyment, and keep you stuck below your true ability.
Our Fear of Falling Workshops are designed to help you:
Understand why fear shows up in climbing
Learn practical tools to manage anxiety and nerves
Build confidence through progressive, controlled exposure
Improve trust in your belayer, movement and decision-making
Develop a healthier relationship with falling
You’ll combine structured falling practice with psychological skills training, including mindset, self-talk, and confidence-building strategies.
These workshops are ideal for climbers who:
Avoid committing moves due to fear
Down-climb frequently instead of trying moves
Want to start falling safely but don’t know how
Feel held back despite being technically capable
Introduction to Sport Climbing Workshops
Our Introduction to Sport Climbing Workshops provide a safe, supportive pathway into sport climbing for indoor and outdoor climbers.
You’ll learn:
Sport climbing equipment and safety systems
Clipping bolts and rope management
Belaying and slack management techniques
Efficient movement and resting strategies
How to approach routes with confidence
Alongside technical instruction, we also focus on:
Managing nerves when climbing above bolts
Building confidence on lead
Creating a calm, controlled approach to progression
One workshop is hosted in the stunning Gower, offering an unforgettable introduction to outdoor sport climbing.
Our Approach
We believe confidence grows best when climbers feel:
Safe
Supported
Understood
Challenged at the right level
We don’t use pressure or “just push through it” methods. Instead, we create an environment where you can explore your limits gradually, build skills step-by-step, and enjoy the learning process.
Our goal is not just better performance – it’s better experiences on the rock.
Who Are These Workshops For?

Indoor climbers transitioning outdoors
